"Be open to the wounds of the world. Mourn humanity's mourning, weep over humanity's weeping, be wounded by humanity's wounds, be in agony over humanity's agony. But do so in the good cheer that a day of peace is coming." -- Wolterstorff
"I take religion to be, not the bare saying over so many prayers, morning and evening, in public or in private; not anything super-added now and then to a careless or worldly life; but a constant ruling habit of the soul, a renewal of our minds in the image of God, a recovery of the divine likeness, a still-increasing conformity of heart and life to the pattern of our most holy Redeemer." -- John Wesley
About Me
Kyle
I'm a seminary student pursuing an academic M Div degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. On this blog, I strive to integrate biblical faith, clear thinking, and my own personal experiences. My ultimate pursuit in life is to know the God of holy love, the substance of which is "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Rom. 14:17). I desire nothing more than to be in the presence of God in Word, sacrament, fellowship with believers, and ministry to the world. I seek to promote and behold God's resplendent glory each and every day.
